 Antique Persian Tafrash Rug.  This rug was hand-knotted using 100% wool in the Village of Tafrash.  Weavers from this region were known for their eye-catching creativity and use of vibrant color.  This 4.4 x 6.2 rug reflects a multitude of joyful bird motifs throughout the field complimented by multicolored small floral motifs.  Color palette includes red, blues, greens, taupes and ivory.  Rugs from this region are sought after and hard to find. Condition is good. Truly unique and antique!
